Yes, you can play the game in the browser for free. Please note that this is only a demo and in the demo you cannot play past a certain day (I believe it’s day 32? I haven’t played the demo for a year, so I can be wrong). The full game was free when the summer update released (I believe). So if you like the demo and would like to play the full game, you will have to pay (or you can hope that it becomes free again, but then again I wouldn’t count on it).
It's sad. It would be better if the world or other possibilities were limited, but not the playing time. It's weird even from the point of view of attracting new players. This is the reason why I don't want to play anymore, although I like this game.

In my opinion is a copy of stardew valley with some special mechanics. You should play this game if: -you don't have money for stardew valley -if you love cats -if you love simplicity

Hi! I also posted this on the Steam bug report thread but since there hasn't been any replies there in a while, I am posting it here too.
Something is wrong with the Friends Forever DLC's page or listing on Steam. It isn't listed on the Sprout Valley page's DLC section at all: only the Easter one is. I had to click the DLC (1) to even see the Friends Forever DLC exists.
Also, your discord link is broken on Steam as well.
Amazing game have it here and steam (and switch) if you don't have it already and like cute farming games buy it very worth it.
I do have a question. I'm very confused on how the DLC works, i know all the DLCs are free and included with this version. However i find if i open the steam version (they share saves) the DLC which i do not own on steam are still in the game. Is this a cool bug caused by sharing a save location? just wanting to know if its safe to open a save in Itch.io version, than continue to play via steam for achievements and save cloud?

how do you harvest the cat and dog flowers that are on your island? they show up on the first day and grow over time but idk how to harvest them! they look nice just really big lol
